Here Is What Your Child Will
Learn and Experience in 2 Days
Day 1: Exploring the Farm
Objective: Immerse children in the farm environment, introducing them to various aspects of agriculture, and fostering a connection with nature.
Morning Session (9:00 AM - 11:00 AM):
Icebreaker activities: Engage in interactive games to build camaraderie.
Hydroponic Terrace Farm Tour: Explore innovative farming methods and learn about hydroponics.
Soil Detectives: Investigate different types of soil through hands-on exploration.
Planting Palooza: Participate in a guided planting session with a variety of seeds.
Afternoon Session (1:00 PM - 3:00 PM):
Seed Art: Encourage creative expression using seeds and natural materials.
Farmer's Market Play: Role-play as farmers, buyers, and sellers in a mini-market for a hands-on experience.
Day 2: From Farm to Table
Objective: Explore the complete food journey, emphasizing sustainability, and empower children to make informed food choices.
Morning Session (9:00 AM - 11:00 AM):
Seed Sorting Relay: Teach children about different types of seeds and their uses.
Cooking Basics: Introduce safe and easy kitchen practices.
How to Play: Prepare bowls of various seeds (e.g., corn, sunflower, pumpkin). Children race to sort the seeds into different categories. This activity promotes fine motor skills and introduces them to diverse crops.
Sustainable Habits: Participate in activities promoting eco-friendly practices like composting.
Cooking Basics: Introduce safe and easy kitchen practices.
Afternoon Session (1:00 PM - 3:00 PM):
